Orange Line Improvements Project Underway in October 2018
The Metro Orange Line Bus Rapid Transit runs east-west just north of Sherman Oaks
from North Hollywood to Warner Center and then Chatsworth. It has the highest
ridership of any Metro rapid transit and is being improved with two grade separations
(overpasses) and more than forty railroad-type crossing gates, as shown in the diagram
below. Sherman Oaks is lucky because the overpasses are over Sepulveda and Van
Nuys Boulevards. Metro broke ground on the project in October 2018 – ahead of
